October 14, 2017 – Jordan Lake (Chapel Hill, NC)

With nearly $4000 in prizes on the line, the future anglers of the sport, from both the high school and collegiate platforms, combined efforts to do battle on Jordan Lake in a first-of-its-kind event for the area.  Hosted by the North Carolina State Bass Pack, the event consisted of twenty-five collegiate anglers pairing up with twenty-five high school anglers to form a team and test their skills among fellow competitors, all while creating new friendships and memories along the way.  Teams launched from the Farrington Point Wildlife access shortly after 7:00AM and returned at 2:00PM.  Faced with overcast skies during the morning, the sun finally broke through around mid-day and provided a perfect weigh-in atmosphere.
