Collegiate/High School Team Tournament – Hosted By The NCSU Basspack
Slated for Jordan Lake (Map) on October 14th – 2017, this unique open event will pair one collegiate angler with one high school angler to form a team in which to compete against other collegiate/high school teams for a one day showdown. Bragging rights are on the line as each collegiate angler will act as a mentor and operate the boat, while the high school angler will have a chance to show his/her skills alongside some of the best college anglers in the country.
As a means to increase the interest in high school fishing and allow high school students to gain knowledge of collegiate level competitive fishing, the North Carolina State Basspack initiated this event in hopes that it may grow into an annual community event. The event is open to: (A) Any collegiate angler that is a member of an established collegiate team, including club *alumni, and (B) Any *high school angler. Teams will launch from the Farrington Point Wildlife access at safe light and will return for the afternoon weigh-in at 2:00pm. Additional updates will be posted as they become available.

- October 7th – Last Day For Collegiate Anglers To Register
- October 8th – Random Drawing To Pair A Collegiate Angler With A High School Angler
- October 14th – Tournament Day
